It's that time again! We're returning to Fuller Lake for Earth Day, and after 2 years away, I (unfortunately) expect a good amount to debris in Fuller Lake again.
As always, you MUST already be certified to enter the water per DCNR rule. Meaning Divers will need their PIC for the office. But non-divers are welcome to clean up other areas of the park or offer surface support.
***FYI*** IT'S GOING TO BE COLD. 7mm Wetsuit or Dry Suit.
We will have more details closer to the Event. Here is A rough outine of how the Day will be run!
Check in at the Park Office will begin at 10am. Everyone volunteering will have to fill out waivers. Also, everyone will have to have a buddy. If you don't have one no worries there will be plenty of people to team up with.
Typically the day goes -
5-In the water at 11am. Check in with designated person so we can write down who you are with and what time you go in. Safety First!
6-Get in the lake and find/collect trash
8-Immediately find designated person to check you off that you made it out ok. Again Safety First!!
Rental gear will be available as will Air tanks First come First Served!
- REMEMBER -
Check in at the Park Office will begin at 10, with divers in the water around 11.
Can't wait to see you there!
