Surface Interval

One of the best parts of diving is the community that comes with it. Whether you've been joining us on trips, taking classes, stopping by the shop, or just following along online, we're glad you're part of it. Here's a look at what's been happening lately and what’s new with the shop.

What's New

We're excited to announce that we are now an official SEAC dealer! Known for producing high-quality dive gear with a focus on comfort, reliability, and value, SEAC offers equipment for divers of all experience levels. One of the products we're most excited about is their anti-fog mask, which features a unique design that helps reduce lens fogging and keeps your view clear throughout the dive. If you've ever struggled with a foggy mask underwater, this is definitely a piece of gear worth checking out!

Diver's Night Out

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent Diver's Night Out at Duke's! It was great to spend an evening catching up, sharing dive stories, and enjoying some time together outside of the water. We had such a great turnout that we're already planning to make these gatherings

a more regular part of our calendar. Keep an eye out for more information on our next event on July 3rd!

We’ll also be hosting a Pro Night at the shop on June 12th at 7:00 PM for anyone interested in taking their diving beyond the Rescue Diver level and exploring the path into professional diving. Whether you're curious about becoming a Divemaster, instructor, or simply want to learn more about the opportunities available, we’d love to have you join us and see what the next step in your diving journey could look like.

Women's Dive Day

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! PADI Women’s Dive Day is set for July 18th, and we are counting down the days! Join us at Blue Hole Quarry for a free underwater scavenger hunt and a chance to win some awesome prizes. Our amazing vendor partners have stepped up once again with some fantastic donations to help us celebrate women in diving. Be sure to RSVP on our Facebook event page so you don't miss any updates as we get closer to the big day. Location details will be given upon signing up, as this is a private location.

That day, after the event, we will also be holding a Peak Performance Buoyancy course for those of you interested in improving those buoyancy skills and looking like a real pro in the water. Contact us or go online to sign up.

Trip Highlights

In May, we returned from an incredible liveaboard adventure in the Maldives, and it certainly lived up to the hype. Our divers were treated to unforgettable encounters throughout the week, including sharks, graceful manta rays, and more octopus sightings than we could count! From stunning reefscapes to exciting pelagic action, every dive seemed to bring something new. Most importantly, it was another fantastic week spent exploring the underwater world with an amazing group of divers and making memories that will last long after the trip ended.

Staff Shout-Out

Most of you may have noticed that we have a new(ish) face around the shop. This is Buddha. Buddha is an instructor that trained with us in Ron’s first instructor course! He then moved down to Florida and ran his own shop for years. He’s since moved back to PA and has joined us at the shop as our course coordinator/ operations manager.
