SURFACE INTERVAL
As the weather starts to warm up, we're getting back into dive mode here at the shop. It's the perfect time to dust off your gear (and get it serviced) and start planning your next underwater adventure.
WHAT'S NEW?
We're excited to now carry NEX regulators, a newer brand that's been making waves in the dive industry. Designed and assembled in California, these regulators are built for performance in a wide range of conditions and feature modular designs that can grow with you as your diving evolves. They've earned recognition from ScubaLabs for their strong performance in both real-world and controlled testing, giving divers confidence in how they breathe at depth. On top of that, NEX really stands out with customizable color options—from bold cap and purge covers to unique finishes—so you can dial in both your setup and your style.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Look out! We're starting to load up the calendar with open water classes, which means dive season is right around the corner! If you're finishing off your certification- or continuing your training-now's a great time to start planning what's next. And if you don't see a class you're interested in, reach out to us! We're always happy to help get something on the schedule.
COURSE SPOTLIGHT
Planning a lot of days in the water this year? The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) course is one of the best certifications you can add to your toolkit. Diving with Nitrox can help extend your no-decompression limits and, after a full week of diving, many divers say they feel less fatigued and more refreshed. It's a quick, easy course with no required dives—perfect to knock out now so you're ready to make the most of every trip.
TRIP HIGHLIGHTS
We kicked off the year in an incredible way, spending two amazing weeks in Bonaire with over 120 of you joining us for nonstop diving, laughter, and community. During that time, we completed more than 80 certifications and welcomed so many new divers into the family. Now, we're wrapping up an unforgettable week in Saint Eustatius, where the dive shop always makes us feel right at home. This trip brought some truly special moments—including whale sightings and even hearing them sing underwater—an experience we won't forget anytime soon.
