PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer

Buddha began his diving journey in San Diego in 1987 and became a DiveMaster just two years later. During his time there, he managed both a dive shop and several dive boats, gaining extensive hands-on experience in the industry. After retiring from being a police officer locally, he returned to diving with renewed passion, obtaining his PADI Instructor certification at West Shore Scuba’s first IDC in 2017.

Buddha soon relocated to Key Largo Florida, where he then earned his USCG 100-ton captain’s license. He also managed several dive operations in the Keys before launching his own dive charter company and quickly became the #1 small dive charter in the Keys. Along the way, he also built a reputation as an accomplished underwater photographer and enjoys helping others capture the underwater world through his underwater photography workshops.

Today, Buddha brings all of that experience—and a serious love for diving—to his role as Operations Manager, where he’s always ready to share his passion and love for diving.
